Zane wasn't more powerful in season 3, there are 2 reasons why he beat the overlord: 1 (this is how he was able to withstand the power of the golden Armour) he had the stone armor, designed to combat the golden power which leads to my 2nd point, his heart reached critical mass after being exposed to the golden power for so long therefore he defeated the overlord with a golden power infused explosion from his heart, nothing to do with his power levels at the time hope this helps

I think ice emperor is stronger than scroll zane because ice enperor had a variant of ice that was stronger and he was able to freeze and control almost every one. Unlike scroll zane Which only boosts his powers a little and ice emperor also had a lot of time with the scroll that they bonded
