I think marsmon could also function as the mega for king, since it's a humanoid digimon wearing a panther mask (like a luchadore), and panthers being apart of the cat family and all that.

SPOILER: Giving Jin a Seraphimon is crazily accurate considering you had yet to play through the story while writing this list. Mastemon could also work, considering how he learns to accept his Devil side as a representation of his own self-destructive desires and gains a white wing to symbolize the change, channeling his inner self without losing his ego to his worst aspects. Even Angel Jin is a form that represents a harmonic merging of the darkness of the Mishima bloodline and the holy cleansing powers of his Kazama heritage, even if it looks wholy holy in comparison to his intial merged Devil form.

I understand the Lucemon for Jin and Kazuya but you could have also given Jin an Antylamon for the fact that it could become either a good or bad angel in Cherubimon's two forms of Vice and Virtue like how he fights with the His Devil form of being a hero or a destroyer.

@@Karn_EX I recommend starting with Zoids New Century; the rest of the franchise is a little harder to follow with its heavy war theming, but New Century loosely lets you know its relation to the prior series, Chaotic Century, and has more of a competition mecha vibe to it, there's a battle system and ranking for battles and everything. But because of its loose references to Chaotic Century you can actually watch both series out of order and not really miss anything.

I really wish I discovered your channel sooner. Tekken and Digimon, 2 of my favorite things having a cab like this would be a dream. I would've used Leomon for King, with Darkleomon being a potential partner for Armor King. And Impmon for Reina, with Beelzemon to be her (spoiler?) Devil form. But I understand the Purple Lighting theme is very very good.

Shame the partner videos don't do well on here I really enjoy them, I'm not a Tekken fan but it's always fun to see two different series mashed together though. Had a bit of a thought while watching this I never liked mercurymon and sepherothmon as the metal spirits in frontier but if they were to revisit the concept they could work with d brigade members, using sealsdramon as the human spirit then swap over to new members to use cargodramon for beast and brigadramon as the fusion

Oh boy, you can definitely see how absolutely perfect some of these choices are. Kazuya can have Satan Mode, but while I know you're iffy on using X-Antibody Digimon outside of natural carriers... Lucemon X for Jin? (There'll be a big space below and beneath that is gonna be spoilers for Tekken 8) Anyway, while I love the idea of BlazBlue stuff, a recommendation I have is giving Digimon partners to the patron librarians from Library of Ruina. That game is gonna be dropping on Switch and PS4 soonish, complete with Japanese dub (for the first time ever in a Project Moon game) and built-in artbook. Plus, it would expose more people to Project Moon, and the characters themselves are super neat. _...so about those Tekken spoilers._ Thanks to the final battle of Tekken 8, we have some cool stuff for both Kazuya and Jin. Kazuya goes even further into his dark side by absorbing Azazel's power and becoming TRUE DEVIL KAZUYA, so Lucemon Satan Mode makes sense. Then we have Devil Jin getting his single white wing that ties him _and_ normal Jin into Lucemon Falldown Mode, complete with golden powers instead of the bright red of classic evil Devil Jin. And then Jin goes even further, channeling the Devil Gene together with the Kazama family's power of purification to become _Angel_ Jin, which... well, yes, technically it's an angelic form rather than a demonic one, but it _is_ still based in the Devil Gene. Which is why I believe Lucemon X specifically works so well for Jin. While he _is_ still a demon with half of his wings still being blatantly demonic if you look closely enough, he generally has a much more divine/angelic vibe with GOLDEN WINGS AND SILVER ARMOR, just like what Angel Jin roughly has. And yeah, Devil Reina definitely tosses a wrench into the Thunder Spirit idea XD

Honestly, I think Marsmon could had worked well with King. For YoshiMitsu, would had likely gone personally with Kotemon to Musyamon to Oboromon to Tactimon. For Brian, would give Assaultmon. Guy loves his gatling gun.
