Probably because the big dudes actually felt big, in most of the fanmades I can never ever properly feel the gigantic feeling of the titans or the skibidi toilets, and of course the fact that dafuq is actually constantly making models, maps, characters, and doing all those things and on top of that adding details and secrets, you never know why. You shouldn't be judging dafuq on the surface and use these video as a comparison from what I know dafuq can basically do the same damn thing with these video and release it in under two or 4 days. But of course he won't do that as he wants he's videos to be perfected as possible. This video is good but art takes time and dafuq is clearly better than this.

Lets take CSGO as an example, compare someone on his first month, 1 year, 5 years and 10 years, will be any difference? And also Dafuq take 2-3 days without starting to make an ep AKA Rest. DaFuqBoom doesn’t make his characters, yk there’s free models he can take from Gmod or FT2 and he just add something in SFM like a gun or a map (almost all his maps in the steam for free). He does has a person work with him which is Hoovy (makes the particles) that should make the processing of production easier but, NO, he work really bad (DaFuqBoom) i can tell if DaFuqBoom Disappeared, there’s more people are the same level as him such as Dydder and Spiderrund.
