While Harvey Dent's legacy and the fallout from his demise were certainly important in 2012's "The Dark Knight Rises", we all know Gotham's fallen white knight never returned in the flesh. But what if old Harvey wasn’t so easily vanquished at the end of "The Dark Knight"? How would his survival affect the other characters and where would they end up? Well I didn’t expect that but can you do What if Penguin and Riddler were in the Dark knight trilogy or Rises where Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin and Johnny Depp as the Riddler? What if there was no Cult in Halloween the curse of Michael Myers? What if Darth Plagueis was Snoke? What if the invisible man was in the monster squad as Dracula’s spy? What if Brainiac and Supergirl was in Superman 3 with Yul Brynner as Brainiac? What if Batman Triumphant was made where you have Scarecrow and Poison Ivy as the villains where Ivy is like Sil from the movie Species and a subplot that Selina is pregnant with Bruce’s child? What if Spider-Man 6 is made where the Jackal cloned the dead villains and breaks the lizard of prison to make the Sinister Six?

Two-Face is one of the greatest Batman villains of all time. His origin, connection to Bruce and the way he operates makes for such an interesting, layered villain. It's a shame that he's not used that often in the movies.

For a future Fanscription could you possibly do “What if X-Men First Class was a more accurate prequel?” If you do it, have it be set in the late 80’s or early 90’s. Have Xavier and Magneto meet when they’re both 17. Have their first students and the first X-Men be Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Storm, Quicksilver, and maybe a few others. Have Xavier and Magento be the ones who built Cerebro. Ditch the whole thing with Mystique being Charles’ foster sister. No Wolverine cameo. Still use James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender for Xavier and Magneto but age them up with makeup so they look like older men, I know in the flashback in Last Stand it was Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen as Xavier and Magneto, but just say it’s the story being imagined in a different way, similar to how each of the first three X-Men movies had a different person playing Kitty Pryde. Still use Tye Sheridan for Cyclops, Sophie Turner for Jean, Nicholas Hoult for Beast, Alexandra Shipp for Storm, Evan Peters for Quicksilver, etc. Also have Magento know QuickSilver is his son and have Quicksilver be killed by humans at the end of the movie, that can be what causes Magento to hate humanity and turn evil.

Two Face is one of my favourite Batman villains. I love the deep psychological complexity of the character from the comics and how he represents the duality of identity between Bruce and Batman, plus Harvey's friendship with Bruce. Aaron Eckhart's performance as the character may have been short, but he certainly did a great job in the role and his downfall from Harvey to Two-Face, while indeed instead rushed and overshadowed by the Joker, still felt impactful. I hope that in a live-action Batman movie, they utilise the character to his fullest potential and have him as a film's main villain, preferably building up Harvey's character and downfall in the Matt Reeves Batman sequels.

Incorporating aspects of The Long Halloween into this works: heck, I think Nolan took inspiration from that, as well as Batman Year One to an extent with the trilogy. I called the twist on Red Hood easily and making the story more grounded helps, Bane's overly complicated story kind of a sour note to end the trilogy on by comparison. Almost was wondering if Two Face might've been redeemed somehow and James Jr. was the major threat long term, given how there is a storyline involving him as a villain and a psychotic one at that

Here’s an idea what if the real mandarin was in Iron Man 3 So, Trevor Slattery and Aldrich Killian (though I'd give him a different name since Aldrich Killian in the comics is nothing like him) are still in the movie. However, they are both red herrings for the true puppet master, the one who's been responsible for the events of all three movies. And his name is Wenwu. Wenwu shows up a few times in the movie as a "business associate" of Guy Pearce's character. However, after Tony exposes "The Mandarin" as a fraud and murders Pearce's character, we see Wenwu watching in disbelief from a hidden bunker. He turns to his men, telling them to "get the rings" and his jet. Wenwu shows up and battles Iron Man in the real final battle, using his ten rings. It's here that he explains his backstory. Throughout history, the ten rings, which he says were found in a valley in ancient China, have given his family power. He's the latest in a long line of warrior kings who lead a secret empire known as the Ten Rings, obviously named after the actual rings. Tony asks why he's targeting him, and Wenwu explains why. He says that, while everything Trevor Slattery said as The Mandarin was scripted, there was some truth to it. He hates America and sees it as a beacon of everything wrong with the world. The excess, the dishonor, the corruption, and hypocrisy. And to him, Tony epitomizes everything wrong with it. That's why he had his subordinates contact Obadiah Stane to try and assassinate him. As he reveals this, we see it all play out through flashbacks. I'm not good at writing fighting choreography, so let's just say Tony and Wenwu have an epic fight that ends with Tony defeating him and stripping him of the rings. And as Wenwu stares in disbelief, Tony gives him a big monologue. He tells Wenwu that he's right about a few things. America is flawed. He's made mistakes. But when Wenwu ordered his death, he turned him into what he is today. He sought to kill him, but only made him stronger. Tony ends his monologue with: "So, thank you." Wenwu is apprehended by SHIELD and put in a maximum-security facility and the ending of the movie goes pretty much the same. I had to cut the intro to get this out on time. Here it is, just for you... “The Dark Knight” is one of the most popular and influential comic book movies ever made. Its legacy has only grown since it debuted to much fanfare in the summer of 2008. Deservingly so! The movie is pretty darn close to perfect in a lot of ways. However, there’s one thing about it that has always kind of bugged me. The climax with Harvey Dent’s transformation into Two-Face works great as a part of the story Christopher Nolan and company were telling, but that character’s full turn seemed a touch rushed. Almost as if we got the finale of a third movie at the end of the second. Back then, plenty of fans wondered if Harvey was actually dead following that final sequence. We thought maybe he’d make a comeback in the next film. One person who also questioned Dent’s fate was the character’s actor, Aaron Eckhart. While Two-Face’s legacy and the fallout from his demise were certainly important, we all know Dent never returned in the flesh for the 2012 finale. But what if old Harvey wasn’t so easily vanquished? How would that affect the other characters in the series and where would they end up? Now’s the time to theorize and ask what could have been. What if Two-Face was in “The Dark Knight Rises”? Quick note right up top. I’m not going to be using the whole Bane/League of Shadows storyline from the third film. Where that seemed more like a continuation of “Batman Begins” with elements from the first sequel, my story is going to be more of an extension of “The Dark Knight” while trying to branch off in some unique directions. I still to this day can not fathom at the end of the Dark Knight why they didn't just say, the Joker killed Harvey or Harvey died of his wounds, why did they need to come up with that idiotic Batman plot that leads to Dark Knight Rises where Gordon still has all the evidence and the letter on Harvey Dent that Bane uses

Well blaming joker for Harvey's death wouldn't make sense as he was elsewhere when Harvey died and I'm sure specialists can detect how long he's been dead for. Also it wasn't just over Harvey's death. They had to explain how 5 people in which 2 of them were cops were killed. Now could they have pin that on the joker? That's the real question. Gotham believed in Harvey more than the Batman. A face they can see and know personally while Batman was treated as a dark figure.

Two face in the dark knight is an interesting and great adaptation as two face (from my knowledge anyway, any other bat fans can correct me if I’m wrong) is usually depicted in most Batman media as having a split personality but in the dark knight it’s is all Harvey, there is no “big bad Harv” personality just his rage and pain for what’s happened to him and the loss of “RACHEL!!” and his thirst to serve justice by a 50/50 chance with his coin, going from district attorney to judge, jury and executioner

I like the general premise that Harvey Dent survives to become a recurring/persistent villain. His stint in the Dark Knight was short-lived as the arc was cut so short.

It wouldn’t have made sense for Two-Face to be in The Dark Knight Rises. Two-Face wanted to enact his version of justice on the people he deemed were responsible for Rachel’s death (The Joker, Wurtz, Ramirez, Maroni, Batman and Gordon). After that he didn’t want to live.

I think it would have been interesting if Gordon Jr reminded Two Face that the coin flip for Jr years ago came up heads, or used his lack of knowledge for that coin flips verdict, to drive Two Face mad as he had to abide by it's rule or accept his way is flawed ... even Batman tossing multiple coins during a flip to drive him mad and render him defeated.

Fanscription idea: What if Shrek became king? Shrek 3 is supposed to be of the titular ogre accepting responsibility and doing things he hadn't done back in the first movie, yet he chose to spend most of that time away from his pregnant wife and find a successor we basically never hear from again, not even in the next movie. So what if we don't waste this potential and see how things could go if he did come to accept becoming royalty? Perhaps Arthur could be repurposed into the antagonist believing his own bloodline and humanity makes him the better candidate to rule Far Far Away compared to a mere monster from the woods and he could team up with the vengeful Prince Charming as Charming character-wise seemed more like the villain's lackey than someone truly capable of shining all on his own.

I feel like what they should've done in the actual movies was make Jim's kid in the Dark Knight Barbara instead of James Jr and then have her being one of the only people who know the truth about Batman build up to her being Batgirl later. Similar to this idea with the son but otherwise following the Dark Knight Rises plot with Barbara instead of John Blake.

Yeah I don’t know overall this one just feels like a rehash of the Dark Knight with a few extra bits, like the choices thing with saving Alfred and commissioner Gordon across town from each other is just like the Rachel and Harvey scenario the joker set up in the Dark Knight. Maybe you were using that as an homage bit but overall I don’t want to downplay your work it’s great but this one doesn’t seem to do anything for the franchise

Very good video. I think that this is a better third movie than "The Dark Knight Rises", partially because this one has a better open ending, since there is a possibility of a second dark knight trilogy. I would love to see those videos with this scenario. You can still add Catwoman and Bane in this scenario, in fact, you could make Talia al Ghul as the main villainess, and can you maybe also add some of the other Batman villains there, like Mr. Freeze, Riddler, or Penguin please?

I liked this. I had some thoughts. Firstly; I would have preferred if Batman had a knee injury from the fall at the end of The Dark Knight. Like he did in The Dark Knight Rises. Secondly; I'm not sure how I feel about posthumously using the Joker. I didn't hate it. Just not sure if I liked it. I was really hoping Jim's son would become Robin. I feel like I would want more backstory on how he's got a bazooka and the strength (physical and mental) to take on Gotham's underworld. I'm not a fan of the ending. I'm not sure I could do better, but I think Batman and Gordon should sort of ride off into the sunset, together. (Ala Black Bart and the Frisco Kid) to leaving future adventures up to the audience's imagination. Or go with the idea Nolan was weaving into the story since the second movie; that Bruce Wayne wouldn't want to do this forever.

Here’s an idea what if the mandarin (for real) was in iron man 3 (1) Obviously, actual Mandarin being the main villain. Played by either Ben Kingsley or Tony Leung, doesn't really matter. (2) Killian would still be an antagonist, just a secondary one. He would actually join the Ten Rings after he was left at the roof. He was lost and full of spite, and that's how he ended up finding the organisation. (3) The first half of the movie would be literally the same, (except the Tony stark mansion fight would be just like this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5LSiKeImd16oKcsi=s2nDU0pM7OsfIk66) but when Tony goes to Miami mansion, he doesn't find Trevor, Mallen knocks him out from behind. Tony wakes up tied to the bed, but instead of Killian, it would be Mandarin meeting him. He would say how Tony offended him by escaping from the capture, proposes an alliance, how that would make an incredible world, controlled by Mandarin and Extremis, explained how he found the 10 alien rings, essentially just going off on a villain monologue. Tony of course refuses. Killian is basically his right hand man in this version. (4) The final battle between Iron Man and Mandarin will happen in the docks as well, but it will be changed a little while still using some choreography from the original fight with Killian.
