Do Peter Murphy's "Cuts you up" in the style of Type O. I know it's not a famous song, but on Type O's forum in the early 2000s there was a thread about what cover songs they should do, and someone suggested that song. I could totally see them having done it, and that suggestion made me discover Peter Murphy. Fun detail: I have played his song "Strange kind of love" for many people, and I think every single person has liked it, and most people then started listening to it at home :-).
