Ah, Vegeta & Frieza's arrogant makes sense on why Cell allowed a hit. Wait? Dr. Gero's Lab was destroyed, but the underground lab wasn't....Oh boy. 😬 I like that Goku and Vegeta have their own training during the 7 year time-skip. Ah, so Gohan balances out his training and studying during the 7 year time-skip nice. 👍 Huh, Majin Piccolo wasn't expecting that would be tough for Gohan because that's his mentor he has to fight, plus Ultimate Piccolo won't be easy fight for him. 🤔 Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

vegeta with like 10 total years of yardrat energy control training i assume he would end up mastering super saiyan 3 and countering the stamina drain

In canon, gohan had enough power to beat perfect cell in only ssj1, he was just too passive and never tried to end cell even when he went ssj2. By the time cell comes back to life as super perfect cell, gohan exclaims that he was at half his power in ssj2, half of ssj2 is simply ssj1. Gohan in ssj1 at full power would have been able to beat super perfect cell. Now, the reason i bring this up is, a super vegeta that has been training on yardrat for 3 years would EASILY be stronger than a ssj1 gohan, meaning vegeta should be able to beat cell in ssj1 in a fair fight
