I'm almost convinced that intelligent life is a weird phenomena that starts only on very few planets like Earth in the universe because of a series of extremely improbable coincidences. But it will also be a fleeting one as soon enough all life will become extinct because of an asteroid or comet attack or any other extinction level event. Perhaps, several million years later, life will again evolve somewhere only to be wiped out again. This has probably happened many times in the past and will again happen in the future.

It tells of multiple different side effects and multiple different views of the same event told several different ways. It begins in Revelation chapter 8 and goes to the beginning of chapter 9.
