Sometimes it takes an incredible amount of boldness and courage to think and act differently. Within the biblical text, we often find people thinking one way, while God instructs and invites them to exhibit a different behavior in this world. One way forward is processing the question, What If? The question of “What If?” invites us to go within, and then have the conscious opportunity to move beyond the surface and go deeper in becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ.
The “What If” question encourages us to shift our mindset and then our behavior. The Holy Spirit awakens us to examine our thoughts, behaviors and actions and ask “if “it aligns with the will of God. What If questions can compel us to move into unchartered territory and embrace a new way of being and doing.
In this “What If?” sermon series, God invites us, as representatives of Jesus, to explore and embrace a different way of consciousness and commitment to God!
