Windows 8 is hated, and I hate it too, but 8.1 is the final Windows that is made for devices with performaces etc. (my record of RAM on this was 200mbs, on Windows 10 (20H2) it was only 800mbs and Windows 11 (24H2, even Optimum 11) got only 1,2gbs :( ), it uses mostly 0 disk usage, only my Windows folder is big to 25gbs, before it was 80gbs, veryy minimal Background processes are running and all services I have are 102 + 9 of them were like "Diagnostic Tracking" etc. I disabled, instead on Win.10 I count them to 200 and on Win.11 even more (290 I think). Yes... even if my computer can handle it (I have 24gb of RAM, i3 CPU with 4 cores, NVIDIA GTX (okay just NVIDIA, full type I write at home)), but still, I want my performence for my applications, not for the Windows that I only need to even display the apps and make some cool GUI like Taskbar etc. I do not need it to I will use: Micro$oft Maps, ToDo, Edge, MsEdgeView2, Teams, Settings App, TiWorker, Telemetry to slow it down completly and bunch of other stuff, I just use him to make youtube videos in filmora, recorded in OBS studio 27.0 and upload them in Waterfox browser. For other stuff I use Mine-imator, Virtual box, Paint.net, Gamemaker, Visual studio and some windows build-in apps, like Notepad, mspaint, charmap and snippingtool... And sometimes I will use system restore, for security purposes. That is all I am doing there, and that's enough.

nah, I am using Windows, because I have knowledge of them, my programs such as Wondershare Filmora, Office... work fine.. (and I don't want an ARM OS, I stay in old x86 (or x64))

@@krr1751 i also have quite some knowledge about windows but I really liked how you can rice linux and how much freedom it gives you so I gave it a shot and worked flawlessly for me :D

​@@lenni-builder Okay, then the newest Windows I will use is Windows 10 Pro build 9888 whatever. But for my working it is just fine, I do not need upgrade if by me is working everything just fine.
