This game is so nostalgic for me because I used to play it as a kid, I wonder if there is a mod out there for Mario Party Superstars which actually adds in something other than a map or character, for example a custom dice like the always-6 dice or something, that would be super cool.

Im now wondering how cool it would be for a train board where you get stars from different passengers who each want different amounts and will change cart positions and leave the stations at their stops from event spaces or by turns taken. It could be real crazy. You might need a way to move back and forth manually like choosing to take the roof at any time.

Ah yes, the Mario Party 8 story mode. Never could beat it. DK's Towering Treetop kicked my butt. 5 times in a row I'd end up 1 star,over 20 coins, and only a few spaces away from the star. The opponent would have 0 stars, less than 20 coins, and halfway across the map. 2 turns later I'd be wondering how I lost. Every single time

You actually always keep going after you get to Goomba, but not when you get to Boo or a pitfall. Also, if you pass someone twice when using a Bowser or Bullet candy, you don't get stars from them the second time even if they still have stars.
