One thing that I know that they are doing with the updates to the expansion is simplifying things by removing unnecessary keywords and rewritting text to condense it more.

They've done a good job at polishing up the Downfall mod, I'd certainly be interested in seeing the other bosses because they're all so incredibly unique and you don't have a deck of 75 yugioh cards.

I know this is a year old and you probably won’t see this, but I just got my first heart kill. I’ve watched your vids and it got me back into STS, I tried to show my friend the game and he had to leave before he could finish his run, fast forward 3 hours, I finished his run by using double tap on heavy blade and blood for blood with about 30 strength, thank you for getting me back into this beautiful game frost.

Interesting spin on the game. The bosses feel unique as well with a new factor of randomness in the equation as their decks, relics and even draw can completely change how you interact with them. I would like to see more.

Wow! I played this mod a while back and like you I thought it was too complex/messy for its own good but I just played 2 runs including an Act 4 and then attention to detail and polish is definitely incredible. If you're having fun with it I'd definitely watch a run with each character at least.

Some small detail I've found interesting, in the memory cube event, the different snippets from each of the characters turn into little snippets from the boss whose boss card you take, and several of them are heavily implied to be linked, such as Guardian and Champ. Neat little details like that are fun.

the poison ability : each boss has different versions of them sefls that make them different. and for 0 cost cards before: the game gets updated man, balance changes happen

Even if you have a goop build, if you have more than one card that splits, I would suggest taking a card that consumes them and turns them into a specialist. Because consuming a slime, give you strength

40:20 You start combat with a slime from your flag relic, who you can absorb to create a specialist slime ... trading a card draw for the bonus still seems worth 41:35 Where's the "you have potions" chat triggers when you need them ... oh well, could have saved 10 HP ... but the way this run is going, probably won't matter 43:02 Leech Energy+ is the Slime Boss' version of Dropkick & Heel Hook ... you apply so much goop every turn this run that it's essentially free real estate here 56:32 I actually don't know if you need to break all the keys in order to unlock the 4th act ... guess we'll find out together, as breaking all new keys in act 3 is hard
