For the shadow, if you look at the green square above him, it tells you how much damage he takes from orbs and other sources. However, he always only takes 1 damage from hitting pegs even if you have other effects like mental mantle.

The way the weird shade guy works is he takes one damage every time you hit a peg. However, he starts with intangiball one, meaning that all sources of damage are capped at doing one damage to him. But every turn, his intangiball increases by 2, so on the second turn he can take a maximum of 3 damage from things, then 5, then 7 etc. But the extra damage from hitting pegs will still only do one damage each time.

This run has such a loaded trunk of content. Take all poison orbs, get most poison relics, all orbs removed on act 1, durable pegs against the dragon, gamba chip actually doing so good

32:44 oml how do none of y’all understand how that guy works?! He takes 1 damage for every peg hit. He takes 1 damage at the end of turn one. 3 damage at the end of turn two. 5 damage at 3. 7, 9, 11, 13, 15….. easy. All pegs deal only 1 damage no matter how many turns you have.

Actually, getting the chip isnt a 50/50 iirc its a 22% chance to get the chip so the 1/1024 is not accurate. Its more like 8% or so odd. Which is unlucky but reasonable
