I love reactions like this. Realizing that military service isn’t always mandatory and people in other countries choose to go to the military. The confusion turning to joy and endearment on their faces is priceless.

I think it's quite interesting how they talk about their feelings if they had a daughter and what it would feel like if she would go to the military since I am a women myself and they are discussing about bringing back mandatory service in my country. However we have a law that states that both men and women have to go and I know that my parents are quite worried about this whole thing coming true. Personally I believe it is especially hard for dads to have their daughters serve because they want to protect them.

I was sitting at a table having lunch with some friends when my oldest son called me from the airport. He was leaving for his first deployment to Afghanistan and called to say goodbye since he didn’t know when he’d be able to call again. I hadn’t realized that tears were dropping from my eyes as we talked until my friends started handing me napkins. I kept thinking ‘wow. This is for real. He’s going to war.’ The call ended when he said “Oh. I gotta go now mom. I love you. Bye.” I was able to see my son 2 years later when he arrived at the airport. As soon as I saw him from afar, I started crying. As soon as he was in my arms, I started blubbering. When I see these types of videos, I remember these feelings. It’s not that your child is going into the military; it’s that you are sending your child to war and you might never see them again.

You should react to S2 SOS. It is a Thai Rap by S2 (Noeul Nuttarat). He is a Thai Korean actor, singer, rapper. He trained under SM Entertainment and pledis. The song is really a banger.

Oh, this reminds me of a couple reunions. Everyone meets at the gym on the fort, but come in separate entrances. The families, including kids, sit in the bleachers. They tell us, ok, the soldiers will march in and stand in formation. You have to sit and wait until all the soldiers are there and you hear, Dismissed! Then you can WALK to your soldier, NOT RUN, or people will get hurt. It worked, mostly, because these are military kids. But there was always one toddler who would make a break for it and race to Mom/Dad early. Haha. ❤ 😂

Not a lot of kids in America get teased for not having a father, like in some other countries. 😉
@retro_mxxn33346 ай бұрын
That’s not true, they do get teased but it’s just normalized not to have a father in America
@shaylablueangel5 ай бұрын
@@retro_mxxn3334 it’s nothing compared to what they deal with, especially in Asian countries, like South Korea. Hence the words “not a lot”, I didn’t say it doesn’t happen.
@cniknik98635 ай бұрын
It happens all the time. What are you talking about? Kids dont get teased if their parent is in the army, but if their parent abandoned them, they let those jokes fly.
