You can kill Zeke instead of going for Tatiana, which causes some disturbing implications. Tatiana no longer shows up at Nuibaba's, and her cell is locked. Was she killed? Did she take her own life?

I'm pretty sure the implication is that Nuibaba sacrificed Tatiana like all the other girls. Let's be real, they were probably planning to sacrifice her anyway and just make Zeke THINK she's still alive to protect by being loyal. At latest, she would've done it as soon as she got word that Zeke had been killed in battle. No more reason to keep her alive at that point, after all.

The funniest thing is, I actually had no idea I had to get Tatiana before fighting Zeke and Berkut. Fortunately (In this case) I actually lost to Zeke the first time so I went back to Nuibaba's route to grind, figuring she must be easier and when I found Tatiana, I was shook that I came this close to missing her and Zeke. That would have been depressing.

i will elaborate this a bit more for you. if you visit the ezekiel map before going to nuibaba's abode, retreat from battle and THEN head to nuibaba's abode, tatiana will also be nowhere to be found. So it's not an event that is triggered by ezekiel's death per se. it's triggered by going left before going right. edit: nvm, just don't kill jerome before going right.
