Appreciate this 🙏 One question I have, Do spiritual mediums ever wear armor, if so which ones? Or where can I find the list of Deity’s ??

Hi @whiteplumee, There are many types. There are the ones that service in a temple and some wear armour. I am not one of those that wear armours and I am still in apprenticeship. :) But there are also a lot of charlatans. (Don’t look at their “brand name”, but really see them for who they are.) Because I got myself into a bad situation with a charlatan! If your heart and intuition says no, it is a no! :)

whether the ji tong wears armour of any type of apparels depends on what god is using the ji tong..... the taoist pantheon of gods are aplenty with half of them is army type of officials and the other half is minister type of officials.... so the ones that wear armour is the "army" type of god.... for example Nezha and sun wukong

@ another question. When they do self mutilation I’ve seen many have flags put into their back. Is there a significance to that, along with how many flags they have?? I apologize if this is isn’t appropriate.

Some how the things you say are a bit inaccurate.... Ji tong consists of the preordained(correct) and the ones that choose to be... the preordained means already determined by their karma to serve, sometimes for their own good, their live is already predetermined to be in a state of unfortunate(sick, disaster) but by being the ji tong the help to gain good karma for themselves, Ji tong temples are also divided into 2 types... sin tua and huat tua... sin tua requires the members of the temple to chant certain spells and need the accompaniment of drums and cymbals when the temple wants to invite the deity. the ji tong from the Huat tua doesnt need all the the drums and cymbals and chants.... both temples perform deeds to help people to solve their problems.... sin tua ji tong normally is blacked out and not sure whats going on when the god is using their body to perform rituals....but some ji tong from huat tua is aware of what is going on....
