Bottom line is it's called a Courtesy Call for a reason - Even if California Pimpin' Ken left the Ho for dead, The Godfather Filmore Slim still did right giving him a "Courtesy Call", because how was he to know, but he damn sho was right to make sure Ken know. The call is the courtesy not the confirmation you been knocked unless it is/was your woman at the time. ⛪

What Fillmore did is a principle we can honor in any walk of life. Do what's correct so YOU know you did the correct thing no matter how another receives it. At the same time, Ken's response is cool as a personal response to the call. "Hey man, you got her, I threw her away." I like how big Virgil sat back and didn't say much until he was asked, he just watched the show and spoke in turn. I grew up around THIS, I'm no P but Real P manners apply any and everywhere.
