What does them getting up at an assigned time have anything to do with their recovery? Sounds more like control for me. And if you’re forcing them then they aren’t doing it for themselves…they’re doing it for the facility.

You detox first before the structured part she’s talking about. You won’t be required to do any of that stuff until you are through detox. You’ll get the proper medications and care until you truly feel like you are done detoxing. It took me 16 days to detox cold turkey at home, and seven days at the rehab detox

They're not gonna make you do this if u have withdrawal symptoms lol. Detox centers give you the chance to properly detox from your DOC before you enter the rehab program. You'll be medicated and monitored so that your withdrawals are manageable.
