and more about permaculture here:) solitude.farm/
Krishna McKenzie explains how It is a system of organic, natural farming, favoring diversity of mixed crops.
Food forests encourage biodiversity, they use less water, create habitats for animals, birds and insects they overflow with mother nature's wisdom and can feed communities and provide them with natural medicine. We discuss things like:
-permaculture as
-natural farming
-What is a Food Forest
-Krishna McKenzie
-STARTING FROM SCRATCH
-how to start a food forest
-how to DIY
Solitude farm is a 23 year old food forest based in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, India where we use permaculture and natural.farming techniques that are simple and easy to learn AND IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF What is a Food Forest by
Krishna McKenzie
Krishna McKenzie tries hard to be an example and discuss STARTING FROM SCRATCH to show others the potential and abundance that you can achieve yourself if you apply these basic principals! Which will transform your life and save the planet in the process.
What is a Food Forest explains how to STARTING FROM SCRATCH
It's time for each of us to be the change we want to see in the world!
Let's make the world a giant food forest of abundance together 💚🙏 even if you are STARTING FROM SCRATCH

@@darshanbakki4162 snakes are a part of the food chain . if snake population gets higher it will attract its predators (for eg. birds) so the food chain and the diversity will be balanced. some snakes also control rats and also its difficult to get food if they are concentrated in a particular area therefore no worrying about them.

Mr Mackenzie, namaste। I discovered your channel just now and i am in awe. Your words resonated with me so much. I have a question? Why are you not growing lemons or limes in the food forest? You know Indian way of eating is very much involved with citrus fruits, we will have a piece of lemon during meal with daal, or we will often drink lime juice as a tasty refreshing drink! Our mothers used citrus leaves in all kinds of cooking , from rice to meat, then why have you not chosen it? I just want to know.

Hi Krishna, Thank you for sharing this wonderful and very informative video. I was as happy watching it as you were showing us your food forest. I have a question, Do you provide the local variety of vegetable and fruit seeds?

I believe Fukuoka's idea is rather to grow food in a natural forest than to create a food forest. Natural farming is not permaculture.
