I read a Granton edge can only be called such if it's made by Granton, all others are Kullenschliff. Is this correct, despite being a knife collector for years, this is my first hearing of the terms.

That is not a Granton edge. The scallops are completely different.

That's not a Granton Edge! A Granton Edge has alternate interlocking scallops on each side of the blade
