Well I tried to explain to the Guardian Ad Litem what our case was all about. He was present when my daughter was residing in a home with her step-uncle...her son (3 years old) and her new beautiful baby girl (1year old). They stayed under his roof for approximately 2 months. The step-uncle entered my daughter's bedroom in the middle of the night and exposed himself and tried to rape her. We told the Guardian Ad Litem he stated that he would make a report along with the case worker they NEVER did. These people left my grandchildren in their care and made my daughter leave. I am in the process of suing these GAL's and Pathways. He is nothing but a dirty old man. The state worker will be in court along with GAL over the PTSD this caused my daughter and my grandchildren.

GAL's aren't what is best for children at all. They need to be eliminated after what I have experienced.

Do you have any advice for someone like me, who was bullied into agreeing to a guardian ad litem. Shortly thereafter I was informed that she was my ex's divorce attorney 7 years ago and already had a bad view of me from his made up stories?

is it legal for the Guardian ad litem to tell you in mediation (which failed and we still planned on going to court) that I needed to pay him, in full and promptly because he has alot to do with he judge's decision? is it ok for him to say this to me?
