Doesn’t it partially block the air directly flowing into the bottom foam of the goggle?

As much as I love MFI my M4’s struggle with fogging in really wet/snowy weather as the MFI positions the mask slightly over the vents so as it gets cold and wet the damp air goes straight into the goggles. It works pretty well when it’s just cold though

That's fair! There really is no such thing as fog proof. Also, an interesting thought on some of the venting being covered. I'm not seeing much - if any at all - covered in my pair. I wonder if that's the same in every goggle? When I've worn it, I've just had a much better experience with the MFI than any other mask because I don't have to jam it under the foam. That is certainly not to say that you'll never have conditions where fogging is going to happen. Thank you for watching!

@@sportrxeyewear i mean the weather was pretty extreme and I run hot, so even now in spring conditions I’m getting a little bit of fogging when I’m not moving but I agree the MFI does a much better job than any other mask I’ve used. The Ruroc Lite goggles are probably the only pair I’ve used that are pretty much fog proof... but then the optics aren’t as good as the anons so I carry the Rurocs as a spare in case the fogging gets too bad

Disappointed with my new m4 when i took it to the mountains, it was extremely cold at that time. I went down the mountain with no goggles, and just accepted the wind burn and dry eyes

I bought two pairs of Anon M4’s and the Anon Helo helmet. Spent 9 days snowboarding in Vail/Beaver Creek/Park City/Solitude/Brighton. Had nothing but fogging issues, especially with the MFI. I love the look and functionality of the M4 and MFI have been flat out disappointed. The fogging made the goggles/system unusable. I borrowed the Oakley lineminers the last day and no fogging, no issues.

That is an interesting (and unfortunate!) experience! I'm sorry to hear about the trouble! Did you notice any difference with the goggles when not using the MFI? Did you wear a facemask with the Line Miners? If so, how did you wear it - under the foam? Would you be able to give any insight into the weather conditions throughout your time on the mountain? Hi SportRx! Just wondering if MFI facemasks are specific to carrier size? Or are all MFI facemasks universal with carriers? I have the XL carrier (grey) and wondering if its compatible with the women's MFI fleece hood. Thanks!

Watching a different video, it sounds like all the masks and pretty close to the same and you just swap out the carrier to fit your goggles.

Thanks for the video. Could you help explain about MFI face warmer sizes? Are the women's face warmers compatible with the regular mens M2s? Are the women's face warmers tighter on the face than the mens? (looking for a more snug fit!)

Hello Osirls! The MFI face warmers are available in 1 size only, but come in a few different materials and designs. They are compatible with all Anon MFI goggles. The 'carrier' is the magnetic component that attaches to the base of the goggle, and is what the facemask attaches to as well. The carrier comes in a few sizes, each pairing with a few specific Anon goggle models. Hope this helps!

Is the MFI mask tight on the nose? I have oily nose and get a lot of blackhead. Most mask require to hang on the nose and need a little bit of tightness to stay on, which is bad for my oily nose. I'm wondering if MFI magnetic clip on is more lose near the nose area.

It doesn’t. I have it and it’s amazing when it comes to fitting. But for me, my goggles were fogging up when the weather was super cold and snowing.

Similar issue here.. I hate the tight "smashing effect " of most masks.. if its loose enough to be comfortable, it keeps falling off.. if its tight enough to stay up, it starts to hurt... but no one talks about the MFI mask fit on the face, where I think this is a HUGE selling point for me.

You’re right the fitting it’s amazing thanks to the magnets. You don’t need your nose to hold it. But the fogging part it’s what sucks. Also im a warm rider. So I tend to get hot even with low temperatures worsens the problems

Greetings JS! They are the Perceive Bronze on the M4 to the left of the screen, and Perceive Variable Green on Wm1 to the right. You may not find the same lenses paired with each of these models, but additional lenses can be purchased as well.

Late to the game but just then order the girl version but I will tell you this I was really contemplating and doing a lot of research and I guess to be honest with you I’m not too sure if I made the right selection on getting a WM3 then just going for the M4 I couldn’t really figure out what was the difference between them but $50 bucks

Hi Sarah! The price difference likely has to do with the Toric lens shape of the M4 vs. the cylindrical on the WM3 model. Toric shapes combine the best features of cylindrical & spherical lenses (less bulk & optical distortion) without sacrificing viewing range.

I have an issue. I use the Helix 2.0 but my MFI mask doesn‘t hold. Do you know the reason for that maybe? The magnets of the mask hold at some iron.
