BRUWWWWW How can this man explain what i learned in my whole course in one single 10 min video...??!!! Hands down the most simple , clear , concise explanation video for a broad concept in youtube.

@@yuurishibuya4797in the 90s, when I was a student, I’d have said he/she was busy out getting drunk, getting high, or getting laid. These days I think the average student is probably busy doing nothing but looking at their phones. Hopefully I’m wrong.

This video proves that the boringness of a class does not depend on the tone, but the arrangement of the content. Even if the tone of the lecture is like talking in sleep, it can still attract you to concentrate and listen.

Really well done, i'm a bit of a moron so it takes me a while to digest information to the point understanding. This series really boils down everything in simple language in a very direct manner breaking down step by step whats going while giving lots of recaps from previous lessons. You sir, are an excellent teacher.

I agree. Many professors fail to get to the big ideas and give a broader understanding before introducing new ideas or diving into the details.

I watched as I'm thinking of tinkering with a Raspberry Pi Pico board. Unexpectedly there is a very clear intro to logic gates, truth tables and how that leads the use of Boolean Algebra in the design and understanding of logic, controllers and processors. Then you're shown how 12 bit numbers tell the micro-controller to Read/Write/Add numbers in memory locations called Registers. It follows that what you've just seen described is like Low Level Machine Code, or Assembly Language, easy for a controller or computer to read but being mostly strings of numbers, difficult for a human reader to understand. This then explains the need for a High Level Code, such as C/C++ or Micro Python when programming micro-controllers or computers. All this in ten minutes! The graphics used are extremely clear, every word is chosen with care to explain and impart knowledge. This is a wonderful intro to micro-controllers, after viewing you're sure to be inspired to get your hands on some and experiment.

if I had a time machine... I would travel back when I was 13 in the 80's with the contents of this video memorized (since no hardware in time travel as per James Cameron) and explain to the then me... who knows what I could have reached... awesome video being a hardware tech and a coder...after watching, it was like and epiphany! the problem being a hardware (component level) is you always have questions how each transistors react.. it's like a race car driver who is also a mechanic you thinks about tinkering the engine while racing.

Excellent stuff! You should make more videos. What books, videos or resources would you suggest for getting a good grip on embedded systems? Also any suggestions to learn RFID/NFC tag and reader programming?
@shortcutelectronics Жыл бұрын
I'd be happy if I could give you good suggestions on resources, but most of what I know is what I learned in university and what I gradually learned during the years from here and there. Also I don't know your skill level. I think ControllersTech (www.youtube.com/@ControllersTech/videos) is a good channel if you are trying to learn about embedded system programming, but you should already have some knowledge to find it useful. Recently (few months ago) I finally started to work as an embedded system software developer so maybe at one point I will start to make videos about that, but right now I still have a lot to learn myself.
