What is a museum?

After listening to the diversity of opinions and ideas articulated in this session on the multiple meanings of museums, especially reference to its origin as a temple of the 'muses', I came off with a renewed hope for a career in museum that I am building. I am particularly hopeful after all that we can go 'beyond the system of objects' into engaging with museums as 'cultural space for performance' I am glad that I am on the right path.
