if you want an anime with cool one-on-one fights there's one called Record of Ragnarok, where gods and humans fight in a 1v1 tournament to determine the survival of humanity. Kojiro actually fights Poseidon in the anime

Luke, just in case you've forgotten, Sasaki Kojirou is also the true name of Fake Assassin in the Fate anime. Additionally, Miyamoto Musashi (his rival) is a Saber-class Servant at the Fate/Grand Order gacha game, and they do have a epic duel in one of the game's stories. But Musashi was gender-bent into a gyudon-loving woman because... why not?

Yeah, the Musashi vs Kojiro fight isn't really a straight forward one. Cause if you want to say "who's the strongest?" then it's Kojiro, cause it took all that planning / scheming for Musashi to win But on the other hand, some might say battle aren't win by strength only, and the moment he lost his cool he has lost And the last thing, it reminds me of Ghost of Tsushima's plot point, the reason why the Mongol army had an easy win at the start of the game was they too used the "samurai honor" against the samurai, sure it seems scummy, but it is a strategy
