Thank you so much for your awesome video. I actually found it while looking for another answer with which hopefully you can help. I have a desk lamp where you twist the rotary switch but it always goes to either on or off with a click. In other words, it’s a perpetual twist motion but he only has two states. And it also only rotates one way. How does that work?

Very good video. Is it possible to hook up the switch to different outputs and having the actual contact connect to GND when turned to change to different output. This would save having to use several push button switches to change output. I have a 12 way 1 pole break before make switch. Hope you can help.
