Once again Morgan Freeman plays the role of the narrator astonishingly. We see him travel around the world and become familiar with different beliefs and cultures. It doesn't matter if you're a Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Christian or even a non-believer, this series takes you on an epic journey to see other cultures and history of the world. Definitely a must see and a masterpiece.

It is interesting. On one and exceptionally important side, it is undeniably disheartening when an individual and/or a community is suffering. More so, if they are impoverished and they have very little options as to what can be of help, if any. Then, myths come in. People with fantastical stories making equally as fantastical claims emerge as like seasoned wolves in a den of cornered and helpless prey. Adding to the hardships of the impoverished and to the challenges that those who have become hosts to natural diseases experience are the experiences of being preyed upon by people who prey upon the credulousness of our species. 🌻

No! Sacrificing oneself to the dictates of religious indoctrination is not noble. It is more akin to a mental disturbance brought about by the sad events in this man’s life. Why should he take on the burden of others who chose not to do so for him? Compassion and empathy count for much more when someone is grieving for the loss of their children.

I wish the rude comments would stop; you can’t prove God’s existence, but you can’t disprove it either. Just let people believe what they want, as long as it’s not something evil or something you can actually find evidence against like Flat Earth (no Big Bang and that stuff aren’t evidence against (plus the Big Bang can’t really be proven either); the Bible has a lot of stuff that isn’t literal in wording and I’m sure the other books have similar stuff as well).
