They seem to grumble when the g sensor records abnormally high stresses, but they soldier on with no reduction in torque that I can see and a couple of them got a good bounce several feet off the concrete. Looks worth having, shame about the price being a bar but the Chinese ones will be deathtraps by comparison and will have none of the build quality or longevity these display.

The solo wheel is an amazing idea in and of itself but this video had me wondering, is there some way to add a suspension system to the wheel? When you guys were riding off the blocks the landings sounded really dense and harmful to the wheel. A suspension system would add durability and the possibility of riding down staircases during casual use. If you added a basic metal frame attached to an axle supported by springs in the main compartment of the wheel you could integrate some form of barbaric suspension for the guys like you all that do badass tricks on everything. I'm no engineer but I'm hoping the creators at inmotion can build on this idea. Thanks for all the vids! Also much love from AZ.

What if the product designer or an owner added removable pegs or small padded protrusions that would go just above where your front/mid point of your feet rest. Then it might be possible to jump with the wheel as the tops of your feet would lift the wheel when they contacted the side parts/pegs. Then you could go up curbs and some stairs possibly(?)

I balanced a 40 pound Mesa Boogie combo tube amp on the front of the seat, with down-post and axle taking all the weight. With the other hand I pulled a taller 4 x 12" speaker cab* with 2 speakers out, on wheels. *Silvertone made a very awesome staggered 4 x12" cab with a tapered bottom in the back and a steel axle with a pair of 4" bbq grill style wheels allowed you to tilt it back to pull it. Slightly narrow for a full size amp head. My SOUND CITY 120 head overhung both sides slightly.

I love the beeping noise it makes when it goes off a big enough gap. It almost sounds like it says "this.is.a.bad.idea" lol

I'm a solowheel rider and longboarder.. I took 3 hours a day for 3 days to have a 100% confidence on this thing.. Which is very short learning process.. but the first ride is a nightmare very difficult..! after you learn it is so easy to ride even in crowded sidewalks

why was gabe quiting ?

Because he blew it all in the end as usual, and after practicing for days to be the best and getting beat by noobs, he was pretty upset. 😂💀

Ray Scaia Basically, yeah. When he was winning it was soooo fun. As soon as he missed a trick and got a letter he just seemed upset that he wasn't for sure going to win now so he just gave up. Honestly Aaron gives up a lot too (do a trick down the 5 and he'll most likely ride up to the 5 and kick his board down the stairs and take a letter). But at least Aaron will not get all pissy about it.

Genuinely surprised at how much abuse these can take, always thought they would be really fragile for some reason (gyros n stuff)

All I learned from this is that those little wheels are tough as hell. I never would have thought the foot holds, battery, power train, or even the plastics would have lasted long enough for a game of sk8 between that many people.
