41 years old, 6 months on a bike ('17 CRF250R), and doing my first race tomorrow. A sprint enduro in Colorado. Send me some good vibes...

Good description for the people who don't know what a Sprint Enduro is. They are a lot of fun.

Man these sure look fun!! 58 yr young moto guy that still races a few times a year and try to ride if not racing every weekend. This is something Im going to try. Get seat time and not sitting around all day for a few laps of riding. Great concept. Thanks for the video!!

I enjoy your videos a lot. Recently picked up a TX300 for my off road events. I recommend sprint enduro for anyone that likes hare scrambles. Out west our sprint enduro tends to be longer loops, AA guys around 16 minutes and B/C guys around 22 minutes. Sprint enduro takes the crazy starts out so its a bit safer in that aspect.

they run slightly differently here in the UK. we don't have separate tests with British enduro championships, just a long lap usually 8-10 miles that normally incorporates sections of a motocross track and has roch gardens/tyre obstacles ect. the British rounds are normally run at iconic motocross venues such as Hawkstone park or Canada heights, using the motocross track and surround land to make up the lap. rather than deciding who you go behind each group goes out for a sighting lap. while this just to check out the track, each riders time is noted and will determine who starts 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on in the group with the fastest rider first. we don't have the freedom to do our laps when we please, organisers will call each group to the start, every rider in the group will do their lap and the next ability group will be called to start. riders in each group will complete 8 timed laps and one sighting lap in a day. these events run very efficiently and theres plenty of time to do your laps.

Interesting. I wouldn’t mind doing one of these but I don’t think they have any in my area. Guess I’ll have to stick to harescrambles.

They can be fun for sure! You’ll have to try one sometime

Perfect timing for this video! I'm going to my first Sprint Enduro this weekend. They've listed a 4 mile cross and a 2 mile Sand. I guess there isn't a woods tarck in this one? Or maybe it's included in one of those two. I'll be racing in the 40+ C class. I hope I don't slow anybody down. Do you recommend riding Sprint Enduros with or without carrying a water pack, and why? Thanks so much for being accessible by us little guys. ;)

Nice! Yeah I’m sure there are some differences in all the different series but sounds like fun! I wouldn’t worry about a hydration pack unless you can’t go back to the pits between tests. Just go back, get a drink, maybe a snack and you’re good to go! Have fun and good luck

Great explanation. What gloves are you using? I like them cause knuckle protection.

I have it.. and they are the worst gloves I ever had... That piece to protect the knuckles is crap, very bad design.

Can you come for just one day? What is the difference between day 1/2? And how do most people handle lodging if you don't have a camper?
@NoahClark324 жыл бұрын
yes you can just do one day. They may run the tracks backward or change them in some sort of way. Either hotel or camp I would assume. Sorry it took a bit to reply!

Every event across the country is a little different but making participation easy is their priority.
