Hello Nasser hussein, Thank you very much for your videos, I am one of your followers. I've done a career change from infrastructure and networks administration to software engineering. I am kind of lost,I can't really find my passion, seeing you very optimistic and passionnate about the subjects inspires me. Can you please give me a way to communicate with you privately so you can help ?

When one node dies, the other node, sends a GARP packet to assume the owner of the virtual IP address. Switches updated their mac address entries using the GARP.

It could be different mac address as well.

What are some use cases for this? It sounds nice that the client does not notice the failover, but how does the server that was failed over to (BBB) know the state of the communication? Example: the client just sent the HTTP request to AAA, then a failover happens to BBB, but BBB does not know anything about the request.

What is difference between Private IP and Virtual IP?
@alexrcrew19752 жыл бұрын
private ip is assigned by router using dhcp because we have limited no of public ip these private ip's gets converted using NAT when they want to send info
