Programming like Python is first step and very basic level is required but other main thing for Ai is learning mathematics like Calculus, linear algebra which is essential for success as Ai practitioner. Everyone should learn Ai as it is future and Will decide future super power between China and US

Learning and coding in Python is already called programming. Plus I insist on the fact that you need math for learning ML and AI. If you want to master AI , then you need math, else you want to learn it then you can just go on without the math and then maybe learn linear algebra afterwards.
