The "super host earn more thing" is extremely misleading. It's a correlation does not equal causation problem. If I have a gorgeous central property I'm going to get lots of 5 stars (which lets face it is the main challenge for superhost) and I'm going to be charging more. I'm going to make superhost. Compare that to someone renting a room or a less well put together property in a less appealing location. They will get more 4 stars for cleanliness and location. They won't get superhost, and they won't charge as much. Superhost itself doesn't actually cause this discrepancy, it has a much smaller positive impact. Same with occupancy rates.
