Thanks. I know sometimes I ramble a bit, but I try to stay on topic for the video. I'm going to be concentrating between "being an AV Tech" and "AV tools and skills" with future videos.Thanks

Hi I recently started working as an AV technician and most of the times it's just pushing the gear to the venue and the loading truck and mostly labor job. There is a little bitnof tech involved to do cable runs and gaff taping for audio ans video, setting up projector and various types of screens for corporate events.

Hmm sounds like PSAV/Encore? It’s a good company to get your foot in the door of the Live Event/AV industry. Once you have the right amount of experience and resume, you can go the audio engineering route or do the huge live events like concerts, sporting events, festivals like EDC, Rolling Loud, Lollapalooza and so on where you can make from $50K-$70K a year.

Good to see you again. Just one comment if you allow me. You may need to talk a little bit faster for better engagement. See the difference in the way of speaking between this video and the other one you did 6 years ago. In all cases, you are providing a great content. Thank you !

Thanks for the comment. You're not going to like my newest video about PTZ cameras. Completely unscripted. Lot's of poignant pauses. Thanks for your comment. Most of the time I have a script I'm following, the hardest part is I tend to ramble too.

What an interesting question. I'm not sure what the questions would be as I was hired by referral from a friend, and it was over 23 years ago!

Hi, How to operate digital mixer,
@AVTechnician Жыл бұрын
That’s a good question. I’ve not yet learned how to use one. It’s on my “to do” list.

There are a lot of digital mixers. You would want to understand the basics of a mixer first then you would learn the menu structure and functions of the particular digital console next.
