These informational videos are solid, thank you. Turning 40 next month and I always looked past the hot rods and focused more on the muscle car era as a kid and through my 20’s and 30’s, now I like the old hot rods and even rat rods haha. You do great work and you’ve got a subscriber for life

Not my favorite style because the roof is out of proportion whereas the chop with the mild channel looks proportional. But that’s why every car is not grey 😂😂

My 57 Catalina came to me in red primer that was shot probably 30 years ago. Last year I went on eBay looking for a set of skirts and found a nice set, cheap.... in the same shade of red primer! Inspired by your Pagoda City Coupe, I think I'll just leave it that way for a while.

Thanks Matt! Been wondering about that one, got a random of you doing the floors in it about halfway through the Forgotten hot rod project, which was the first time I caught you guys! Cool story, lots of real info, a good eye, and a good team. I like what you've done, doing what you like for work instead of fighting work for the hours. Well done.

I enjoy the older style Hot Rods. They are rough around the edges and I really liked driving my old 31 coupe. I was wondering about the F-1 steering box and it being used on top of the rail? I do not recall seeing a above the rail steering except early Chevy and reversed Corvair. Is it a matter of building a plate to hold the box and weld to the rail? I also remember the old VW steering a very long time ago. Thanks for your videos!

I'm 73 now. When I was in the BoyScouts in grade school one of the older scouts showed up in a open engine channeled 5 window coupe simular to the Pagoda City coupe. That was it! I was ruined for life. I've never forgotton it and the rest of my life when people ask "if you could have any car in the world what would it be?" Hands down 5 window coupe! Still remember what was painted on the side of it. "The Litl Hobo". Keep building them man and I will keep watching.
