Short description of the content of the webinar.
Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is an autoimmune, hypercoagulable state caused by antiphospholipid antibodies. APS provokes blood clots (thrombosis) in both arteries and veins as well as pregnancy-related complications such as miscarriage, stillbirth, preterm delivery, and severe preeclampsia. During this webinar, we will explain the most important issues regarding diagnosis, treatment and prevention of complications to help patients to understand and better explain what APS is.
All resources and more info about APS can be found here: reconnet.ern-net.eu/disease-aps/
