I enjoyed the video series and the details put by the author. One feedback which I would like from speaker is he needs to make pauses to engage with the audience. Also variation of tone will help. Hadoop is slow because it's written in Java?!!!! It's slow because of the model it uses NOT java specifically. Spark - like Hadoop - is running on the JVM as well, so performance is NOT AT ALL related to the used language!

I had an Asian teacher in college, who pronounced result as...rejert. Her Engerish wasn't that bad either. It took me almost half the semester before I realized rejert wasn't part of the terminology.
