Your next questions might be "what are Containers)?" Well! Thats another technology, where u just have a Container running, bringing its own dependenies for existing. Gitops is one type of DevOps. Gitops is focused on using git as the source of truth in automating CD. DevOps is a broader term that includes cultural philosophies, tools etc that automate the code to customer value pipeline.
