1. Yes stripping is default. We do not have any control 2. Mirroring We can control by defining redundancy type, External or Normal or High redundancy

If my redundancy is normal and i have 2 failover group with one one disk then stripping and mirroring happen in same disk?

You can not have normal or high redundancy using single disks.. 1. With single disk, you can only have external redundancy 2. With 2 disks you can have either normal or external redundancy 3. With 3 disks you can have high redundancy or normal redundancy or eternal redundancy. Stripping will happen irrespective of your redundancy
