Hi Venkat, Thanks is a small compliment for all your tutorials. We have been learning a lot. DO you have an plans to create a series for SignalR ? I request you to please make one . Few things i like about tutorials, lot of professionalism, expertise can be seen in your videos. All your videos are complete, follow a logical sequence, made with consistent approach all through with same quality standards and you take off very steadily . :) That helps a lot. After getting used to your voice, it's tough to adapt to other tutorials. Thanks a lot again and appreciate if you can make one series for Signal R for developing real time applications.

Hello Mr. Venkat, thank you for your efforts. I am still confused with the concept of the purpose of web api. If I my application is already built on database and all crud functions like using (ADO. Net) are serving my goal then what is the need for API??! I don't understand. As what I know is that apis are designed as a shortcut of programming small applications like Google login system, Google maps, Facebook login system and etc. I wish you can explain more. Thanks
@Csharp-video-tutorialsBlogspot4 жыл бұрын
Great question. If your application directly talks to the database using ADO .NET or entity framework you may not need a Web API. As the name implies a Web API can be called over web (i.e internet). We typically create Web API's when we want to make data or services available to multiple applications. These applications might have been built using different technologies, may be with in the same organisation or different organisations, they can still talk to a Web API as Web API's are built using open standards and protocols. Hope this answers your question.
