To Mr. Abhishek Ghatak: Love your analogy when you compare cooking and mixing! Love your attitude and humility as a mix engineer and your philosophy! Totally agree with you when you say the combination of a nerd and a creative makes the process of mixing so so exciting, and how knowing the sonic evolution of different genres are essential to the making of a great mix engineer. Thanks for your honesty! And finally, thanks to Sudeep Audio interviewer for such a wonderful in depth conversation.

Hi, how do i get good separation in the elements of the mix ..?
@RahulMishraMuzik4 жыл бұрын
Good arrangement, EQ and panning. Eq can be a game changer here.... Get rid of nasty resonances, and carving out space for other elements, slightly boosting the fundamental frequencies if needed can really help. Make sure there isn't way too much build up of low mids, in the 250 to 500 hz region. The lows and the low mids add a lot to the clarity of a mix. To sum it up, train yourself to hear the clashing regions. If you can hear the overlaps, you can fix them. Hearing will become much easier if the tracks are well recorded. If there are unwanted resonances, try to clean them first using the #eqsweeping technique. Happy mixing!

Kya muje mixing kesi se seekhni he padegi ya mai khud kr kr ke bh seekh skta hun ? Mene paise save kre hue hai . 100k ab mai equipment lun ya mixing seenkhu kisi se bhot se log hain . Muje thodi bhot aajati hai ? Basics pta hai mujhe ? Wt do u think

Equipment is first! Agar paint and brush nahi ho, toh painting kaise seekhoge? So invest in equipment. Then start learning on your own and also join a crash course at an institute for basics in audio, etc.
