Thank you, Dr. Okereke, for always sharing your knowledge. I always enjoy watching your videos. Could you make a video about optimizing the shape of porous concrete blocks in terms of an interlocking mechanism, geometry, etc?

Thanks for the comment. I am not sure I understand the request, do you have a reference journal that I can read to better understand the problem?

@@MichaelOkereke I have found a paper related to this subject, "Finite element modelling approach to determine optimum dimensions for interlocking concrete blocks used for road paving"

Hello @@niyomukizajohnbosco1108, thanks for sending the paper. I have read through and the subject is quite interesting. It does seem like a big project rather than a one off video. The key here is in the optimizing goal... that suggests coming up with lots of different block geometry and interlocking dimensions and running simulations on them until you find which one is optimal for what you are looking for. I usually do not make such videos as they are academic projects which the student will have to execute. I will often make videos on one aspect of a problem and that will guide the student to go ahead and apply that in solving a larger bigger scale problem. I hope this makes sense.

@@MichaelOkereke Thank you Dr. for your kind response. Even if you make a short video for one aspect, it will be helpful to the viewers. Thanks again for always sharing knowledge.
