This is so true, I also recently move from the strangles to straddle. You missed the 1 point that with strangle it is easy to manage the risk as you know upfront the risk and reward, where as with straddle your risk changes with vix

I generally do strangle for overnight positions because ik that both the options will expire otm and I don’t have to keep managing it, and do straddle for intraday because I can manage it and get high profit, and on Fridays actually I’m an option buyer.

Atm straddle sensitivity won't be same always..once one leg goes in the money there will be an imbalance in delta.and for short strangle using opstra we can easily find the matching delta and chose strikes accordingly.

Equal the delta to manage the loss. Else the loosing side will keep increasing and the winning side won't decay at the same pace

Confused. At entry time we know sensitivity of atm which is .5 similar way we can decide delta of strangle also. Once entered then the delta changes both for straddle and strangle based on spot!!!!
