The idea of bill once being a human could’ve made gravity falls even more interesting and maybe a bit more psychological. The theme of “losing your humanity” could be established by how bill not only lost his humanity physically, but also mentally as well. This theme shows how characters like ford were on the brink of losing his humanity (albeit, mentally and the transition is technically gradual as well) yet was saved by his family. It would’ve driven gravity falls’s theme of family and even further and may even would’ve introduce a theme of psychological fears and problems

A couple things you missed: Wherever Bill inhabited during the story line of Gravity Falls (like you said the mindscape which I very much agree with) it wasn't his original dimension. I know this from the the Time Axolotl, who once said in a poem about Bill ''saw his own dimension burn, misses home and can't return'' this refers to when Bill set fire to his own dimension killing his family and everyone he knew in the process, I do not know what his original dimension was, since Bill is older than time itself there isn't any clues to it that I know of. Also when Bill said it had been a long time since he inhabited a body this does refer to him once being a human but in a different way (more on that later) anyways like I said Bill is older than time itself and has possessed many humans in his time (including Ford) so that's why he wasn't a human. Back to what I was saying earlier there is no hard evidence but I think it may be possible that Bill's plan was to go back in time to possess Stanley of the original Pines twins (Stanford and Stanley) like the Time Axolotl said in the same poem as before "If he wants to shirk the blame he'll have to invoke my name, one way to absolve his crime, a different form a different time." a different form a different time could refer to possessing Stanley not entirely sure what that would accomplish for bill, but it would have to stay with the story line because you don't change the future you cause it. The part in the poem before that he'll have to invoke my name part refers to something Bill said in the last episode but I won't get in to that. Also I now realize this vid was uploaded in 2015 so that means the second season wasn't out when made this so that means you didn't have a lot of info to make this vid. anyways very entertaining video love it! So something that I find odd is at 1:49 Bill shows a hand as if gesturing to halt or stop; being said, it has 6 fingers. I’m not sure if this is a nod to anything, but in animation, making 5 fingers is har; that’s why people always have 4 fingers. For them to not only to make all 4 fingers, but add an extra in. Update: Bill is actually 2 dimensional, but somehow achieved the rank of becoming interdimensional ('a dream demon'), at least for a moment before finding himself trapped within the dream/mind scape, or in our world's terms, the astral plane. Him being a shape and pretty much a symbol, he is only granted power through our perceptions, as shown in the confrontation in 'Dreamscaperers.' He is literally powered by our beliefs, a Placebo effect in a way. So when he entered through Weirdmaggedon onto our 3D dimension, he wasn't actually 4th dimensional, but managed to carry his powers with him. I hypothesize the only reason this is possible, as well as when he interacted with a human within the dreamscape, is because he's, again, interdimensional, and still carries our influence with him once he enters our world. BUT he's not 4th dimensional, notice he didn't alter time in anyway during the three episodes and was cut off guard multiple times. He's limited as long as he was 3rd dimensional. His goal from there was to become 4th dimensional, which would just completely destroy the multiverse. My theory for this was due to us not being able to percieve the 4th dimension, him attempting to get to that level would be pointless since he would immediately lose any power. That would be his limit. If we can't percieve it, it's either not going to happen, or he'll end up completely breaking it. Much like an ice cube in a cold glass of water attempting to continue on by dropping in the Tropical Pacific Ocean. And Mabel's bubble doesn't count as manipulating time. Again, that pocket dimension was completely based on Mabel's beliefs and perception, destroyed as soon as she wished to leave.

Something to note is that when bill "stops time", he isn't actually physically present or causing anything to happen - he's creating an elaborate hallucination, as he is only appearing directly in the minds of whoever he's appearing for. He cannot affect the real world in the third dimension since he has no physical presence, and thus has to possess and manipulate others in order to get what he wants. This is why his appearance in Weirdmageddon is so important. Once the rift is opened, he "gets a multidimensional makeover" and gains a physical body, allowing him to interact with the physical world without a puppet.
