I'm so glad your camera did a close up on the study in neutrals! I've been thinking about that particular kit and when I saw the up close pattern BAM it was mine. Sometimes it's hard to see the actual pattern of your smaller print fabrics on the screen. I'm happy, Thank you! Love you guys!

Great question! We purchase a wide variety of fabrics which we use as backings. The fabrics from the kit is often slightly more than selecting fabric which are purchased specifically for backing. However, if you would like to have a fabric which match the kit, and if it is available, you can request it by contacting our office. Toll free 866-855-0998 to order matching backing. Donna

Love watching your videos, but notice that you consistently say the focus fabric is number 1 and will go in the largest block. I've watched enough of your videos that that was pretty much programmed in my head. THAT IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE. Pay attention to the written pattern. Really disappointed in my Chain Reaction quilt because the "too pretty to cut " number 1 focus fabric actually got cut into small pieces. 😒

Hi, I'm so sorry you were disappointed in the end results! The Chain Reaction design is dependant on high contrast with the background fabric. I will try to explain that better in a future pattern. I also address using large prints as a "Color" rather than a focus in a couple of videos. Will try to visit that topic again in the future. I would love to see a photo of your finished top.
