If you look at the example list and select servo it is unclear which pin you connect physically to the servo and the slider. This is not straight forward so having trouble figuring out how folks use this app. Sure creating the graphical interface on your cell phone is 80% clear and the sketch creation is 10% clear. How would you go about creating buttons, a graph, a gauge, and a display for one project? Which example on the web site do you select? Needed is an example for each and every example on that blynk sample page.

@@MaxGoddur I think it is unclear because it depends on the microcontroller which PIN supports PWM. You need a PWM pin for the servo. So the basic Led and UI button example works, just need to use a PIN which supports PWM and use a slider instead of a button.

Hey man...great video. I like the detail. Quick question though, do I need the Ethernet shield to operate this? I have a HM-10 BLE module and I am trying to use it to control a motor and other things using an arduino nano. I also have an arduino uno, but I don't have the ethernet shield. Is it possible to control an arduino project via BLE module without the ethernet shield? Or are they two completely different platforms?
@csongorvarga5 жыл бұрын
I never used BLE with Blynk. But you need a way for the Blynk server to communicate with BLE device. The examples I have seen is your phone communicates with the BLE device via Blynk. Which is nice and easy but that will not work when you move away from your BLE device. For those scenarios you need some sort of Wifi-BLE gateway like an arduino with ethernet shield and BLE module as well. But I don't believe the code for that exists out-of-the box, so you need to code that in Arduino IDE.

I have the same relay but 8 chls. You mean I need to supply external 5V supply. How do I wired it? It has GND-IN1-IN2-IN3----IN8-VCC pins then on the far Right it has GND-VCC-JD-VCC pins with Jumper pin on the it. So how should I connect to this relay. Do the trigger from Arduino pin trigger High or Low when On?

GND goes to ground, VCC to 5V and IN1-IN8 goes directly to the ESP/Arduino pins. The jumper should be closed. My model triggers on low. This should work.

Wow, I appreciate that you are trying to demonstrate the capabilities of BLYNK, BUT you are all over the place. I am a retired engineer from the networking industry, ex 3Com and Cisco So I have a lot of knowledge of networking. But I am having a terrible time trying to follow you, you jump around, then you mumble then you make a mistake and in trying to fix things you completely LOSE THE VIEWER. It is obvious that you NEVER PLAN YOUR PRESENTATION BEFOREHAND. You seem to have technical knowledge but when you try to explain things you are HOPELESS. So take some advice from someone who has YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN TEACHING THIS SORT OF THING. Firstly PLAN THE PRESENTATION, explain each concept fully and SLOW DOWN, this is not a race. Speak clearly, do not mumble, if you make a mistake, DO NOT START PRESSING BUTTONS WILLY NILLY TO FIX THINGS. Explain your error and then RESET to the point before the error. Do not bring in EXTRANEOUS BITS OF INFORMATION, STICK STRICTLY TO YOUR PLAN. Then SUMMARIZE the whole presentation at the end. Follow these simple points and then perhaps your viewers will not shake their heads in frustration. After watching this a couple of times I am still confused about some major concepts. Better luck in future, SLOW DOWN SPEAK CLEARLY.
