This is all utterly unnecessary. We have black soldier fly in our Kerala. Just put all the biodegradable waste in a big compost bin on an elevated surface with a small opening for BSF fly on top and openings at bottom for compost slurry. Have been doing this for 5 years now. Zero maintainence. I use BSF larvae as chicken and duck feed.

I have been using for more than 3 years. It works very well. For a family of four, you need at least 3-4 buckets. Although I live in a flat, I don't send any bio waste to the corporation waste management system. Only problem is that you need some space to dispose of the product so that it can become compost.
