The flaw in the logic of Xeno's Paradox comes when one assumes that the remaining distance can always be subdivided, and thus, there are infinite or limitless steps that must be completed. This is not the case, as once the Planck Length is reached, there can be no further divisions, since it is the minimum distance that can exist in the universe.

Definitely! The example in this video to explain limits is too far fetched to be honest, since the example itself is taking a real life scenerio, but dosen't take the plank distance on the eq., despite it's a real scenerio. However, I do understand creators' aim, as it is to INTRODUCE calculas to childrens, not explain it. It would take at least 1 and a half hour to conceptualize the whole thing.

Planks constant assumes know constants such as light speed as max limit to define ultimate length but there can also be speeds faster than light, which we still haven't discovered to be what. But if we take such speeds into account, we are also automatically taking time travel and space time wrapping into account

You can also use the formula for an infinite geometric sum series. The equation for this specific series is 1(1/2)^n where n starts at 1 and goes to infinity. You can use A/(1-r) where a = first term and r = rate of change. You get (1/2)/(1/2) = 1. Great video!

In my opinion the problem is conceptual. What Zeno do is break the OBSERVATION period of the phenomenon (ball's fall) in half progressively. Then what is infinite is the number of periods to observation, not the phenomenon itself. The limits is when the time is so close to zero that can't be observed anymore. And this last and nonobservant moment is when the ball reach the floor.

I think Zeno’s paradox is true when we relate with time dilation. According to time dilation time slows down as you approach to the speed of light . If the ball velocity approaches to speed of light time slows. Time slows means time increase . Time is inversely proportional to speed so speed decrease. As ball approaches to speed of light time stops (according to time dilation) . So ball not approaches to final position .

I have approached Zeno's Dichotomy Paradox like this: Ball will never reach the ground as it suggests. And it assumes that every length can be divided. But when we reach to the atomic level, we don't really touch anything as there is always gap between atoms. So on reaching that point, there's no further attraction between ball and the ground.

The infinity here results in an exact number, because every term you add is smaller than the preceding term. That's the trick. If the successive term is equal to or greater than the the preceding term, then the series results in infinity, no matter by how little the number is increased.

It's a really good video. The only challenge is that it claims it explained Zeno's paradox, whereas it did not. Calculus, in its rudimentary form, assumes motion is real, and then explains and interprets it. On the other hand, Zeno questions the premise and very existence of motion. @flurng's comment below points out a fundamental flaw in Zeno's argument (that space and time could be infinitesimally small), a sound one nonetheless given the time period when he asked the question, and one which sort of instigated us to question our sense of reality in some sense. Even today, at best, we have a vague understanding of motion. The current video surely but merely explained that an infinite no of steps do not necessarily add to infinity. While I appreciate that it's to explain the basics of calculus in a simple manner, I am not convinced we should shut the door to further curiosity by stating it solved something it did not. After all, curiosity is what keeps moving us forward, and helps us discover new things.
