We are already in the big crash, Inflation is a catastrophe. This CPI report is a colossal failure. To bring the housing market to a halt, the FED will have to pull all the stops. The unfortunate issue is that other markets are being decimated. If you want to stay green, you have to rely on a lot of diversification. Currently up 14% and being careful. Another thing - it is incorrect to say that Technician ignores fundamentals. Technician does not ignore fundamentals; he goes beyond fundamentals. Fundamentalist determines value, technician determines PERCEPTION of value. There is a big difference between determining value and determining the perception of value. It is not just the value but the perception of value by market participants which moves the price up or down. Fundamentalist and technician are not two separate arms of the markets, they are supportive of each other. fundamentalist initiates the move, technician supplements it.

IN patterns I use the line chart to draw trend line like Uptrend, downtrend and sideways. For a break out, from sideways, ONLY 2 Hr time frame is reliable anything lesser time frame reduces its reliability. Higher time frames are more reliable like 4Hr and daily but then one must also be prepared to put a big stop Loss too. One then has to balance it out. For high frequency trading in like Nifty and Bank Nifty a time frame of 1Hr and 2Hrs is reliable, but for stocks with low liquidity one should use a higher time frame like 4hr and daily chart and also be ready with a bigger stop loss. At the end of day I also look out the trend line on Daily chart and 2Hr chart. One also needs to mark the resistance and support levels where there is a lot of possibility of price rebounding back to its original trend. Gap UP or Down is also a part of resistance and support Levels other than trend line.

Trading is just hunting. You need to have a lot of patience, but also at the same time continuously keep observing the movements in terms of candle stick , patterns etc, and whenever you see a chance, immediately enter a trade with buy or short sell without any hesitation and with a stop loss. All the while you are looking at the live chart, you must be calculating in your mind resistance, support levels, risk to reward ratio, stop loss etc and whenever you see an opportunity you just need to pounce on it and go into the trade, just like a Lion or Cat pounce on its prey. Trading is very different than investment and need a very different mind set. YOu need to build or have a physiology like that to absorb the loss. To start with one must do paper trading for at least 6 months and if he/she is doing profit, then only go for the risk of doing actual trading. It is just like you got a training in Military to take part in war, but your real test is ONLY when there is actual War and you are into it. This requires a lot of experience and money which you can easily afford to loose and NOT repent on it. ONLY daring people can do it profitably.

For Nifty and Bank Nifty I use 2Hr, 1Hr and Daily Chart. I do NOT rely on any single candle. I rely more on pattern on 2Hr time frame. Also the position of the candle in the chart is very important. For Ex. Hammer is much more significant if it appears after a down trend and then a confirmation with a long bullish candle has to be there. The first Hammer is just a first signal that probably the downtrend would come to an end. Same way shooting star and bearish candle is valuable only if it happens after an uptrend. I would NOT call a prediction of future price movement BUT Possibility of movement, otherwise there is NO meaning of putting a stop Loss even after so much analysis as this study is NEVER perfect and chances of its accuracy is NOT more than 75% that one MUST remember and be ready for any Stop LOss.
