What is Canva Live? How to use it?

hello sir I have tried this as a demo but when i joined as a participant i am unable to view the session only the chat session is there but the screen is small and couldnt view the presentation as a audience

I gave this is a try, and exactly like in your video the livestream from my computer doesnt appear on my iPhone screen. Sure you can ask questions and send reactions just like you did in your video. But what is the point if you cant see what is being livestreamed? (in other words you cant see the presentation).

Hey Jade, Yes you are right. Canva Live doesn't live stream your presentation, it only allows you to interact live with your audience, let them react and ask questions.

Hey Pam, no. Canva Live only allows you to interact live with your audience, let them react and ask questions. It doesn't record your presentation, no the Q&A session.

Hello, I've created my first presentation in Canva and am trying to understand more (thanks for your video). Is it correct to say that the only reason people join the live is to make comments? Because I can't see the presentation when I join from my phone.... so as the presenter, do I use zoom, share canva (via screen share in zoom) and then the interaction/questions come through canva rather than through zoom? I'm unsure why I would use this function as people can make comments in zoom... thanks in advance for your answer!

We use a combination of QuickTime Player to record our screen and OBS to record our talking head + Premiere Pro to edit.

You'll still need a software like OBS to broadcast your stream. Canva Live is only the mechanics to let your audience interact with your presentation and ask questions live.

Hey there, the Canva Live feature allows you to interact live with your audience. It provides that question/reaction mechanism like I show in the video. You'll still need to broadcast your content via Zoom, social media or simply present it on a screen or monitor.

Canva Live is the platform that will let your audience interact with your presentation and ask questions. It won't live stream the presentation per se. So that might explain why you didn't see the actual presentation when you connected to the canva.live You still need a broadcasting software like OBS or Zoom to stream the presentation. Or you can connect your computer to an external screen and share your presentation this way.

Hey there 👋 It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure your green screen is properly lit and an effect called ultra key that we use in our editing software (Premiere Pro) to get rid of the background. So far there’s no one-button-solution to achieve this result, it’s a bit of work but with some practice you’ll for sure get it right!

Hey teresa, to add shopable links on Instagram Stories, theres and option under gif section as link. Simply paste your link there and it will automatically land your customer to website from stories

Yes, this has been designed by Canva for having a way for the audience to interact with the content during a webinar or an only conference. So the audience should be seeing your presentation via the Zoom call or webinar software.
