Chemotherapy is a treatment that uses powerful chemicals to kill fast-growing cells in the body. Though chemotherapy is an effective way to treat many types of cancer, it also carries a risk of side effects. Some are mild and treatable, while others can cause serious complications.

My dad got diagnosed with stage 4 but after giving this horrible treatment also my dad left me, why ? After giving radiation his health went down further and I lost him in few month's. Madam thank-you. But conveniently you forgotten about oral cancer treatment in tongue area.Why chemotherapy is not helpful or not recommended by doctors. My relative is suffering from tongue cancer due to prolonged use of tobacco. Govt doctors recommend only cobalt radiation therapy but not chemotherapy. Cancer is fourth stage. Please help me/us

Chemotherapy was given to my brother for colon cancer 4th stage. 6 cycles with gap of 14 days. 2 1/2; days per cycle were given. It created only weakness and had a fall resulted in temporary memory loss and speech in mumbles. He died after nine month's . Oncologists are doing trial and error methods . No clearcut technology for not only cancer but also for other diseases. Your lecture is not going to help the patients. Useless chemotherapy is yamans branch office. Doctors can only make crores of rupees. Don't mislead the public.
