@@CineConsult the common and one of the main problem in this video and inside our industry is calling "cinemascope" as "cinematic".....and misunderstanding what is the difference between cinematic, filmic and cinemascope? .... u called cinemascope as cinematic. every aspect ratios are cinematic. our most of the industry people and newcomers thinks that, putting crops or making 2.35:1 aspect ratio is the look of a cinema and calling it as cinematic. cinematic look doesn't have any specific rules. if the movie become perfect as per maker visioned for it or narrated the experience well then it becomes cinematic. Many Hollywood movies and other movie makers chooses 2.35, 2.39,2.40, imax, 1.19, 1.43, 1.78, 2.20 etc etc based on their creativity on approaching specific scripts and some people mix these ratio inside different scenes too.... why most of the indian film makers these days thinks, cinematic look is 2.35 is bcoz of they grown by seeing only this format mostly bcoz of the theatre screens also made for support that....but recently released many movies like light house, sone recent nolan movies doesn't choose that, and still they are cinematic. malayalam movie nayattu released recently doesn't cropped in 2.35 and released in theatres like that. its director and Cinematographer's choice.
